Jade and Alastair
by Gary Hickin
My daughter's wedding day. As insurance against bad weather I took a series of location shots a year before the actual wedding- The wedding day (Feb. 11th) was freezing cold with snow and ice still clinging to the cobbles! This is one from the album , a composite of three images- there are three versions- B/W, colour and this one which is tonemapped.

This is really great and the tone mapping really suites the image

Fabulous work, I bet this would look great printed and framed. Judicious use of HDR - not too much so it looks artificial, just enough to make it shine.

Thank you so much everyone for your reassuring comments- it was quite a stressful task as it was my first and probably my last wedding shoot !
Cheers,
Gary ( still sorting and editing a truck load of pics!)

Congratulations to you and them both. I like the nice natural lights and colours. You've done a great job again.
