The ceiling round the edge is covered in beautiful mosiac designs. The rather uninteresting exterior belies what awaits you inside !
No flash allowed and I had no tripod, so it was a question of holding my breath ...

Thank you, Giulio, Mac and Paul. It has a sort of cosy feel to it, low vaulted ceilings as above and a high central point with wonderful detailed paintings.

The detail, framing and colour tone is fantastic.
