Portraits??? Most photos of people in the past have been of family. Never take candids or street at all. If I had choice it would be to emulate the set up procedures that tweek the norm. Ralph Gibson, Bill Brandt, Shōji Ueda, David Bailey, Arthur Tress, etc.

Japanese photography pushes the simplicity/surreal really to the limits and the iconic work of Shōji Ueda is my ultimate love. The dunes are so close to my heart that I could easily collaborate these ideas. Brandt's beach work is also a huge heart swelling entity. Deeply thinking at the moment.

Cheers Tony....I love old school. Atmosphere is so important to me. I buy a photography book from a second hand shop. Open up and drool. I have lots of the greats books and they are so important when a treasured afternoon off work can be spent simply taking stuff in. Nursing is just a turmoil of emotions at the moment and photography and photographs are little oases.
