Hole sweet home
by simonarron
Local ring-necked parakeet seems quite pleased with 2015 nesting hole. Absence of pink/black neck rings suggests this is Mrs Parakeet. Taken with K-5 IIs and DA300 in (predictably) Kelsey Park, Beckenham.

+2 Fabulous shot,
They are also quite common in North London parks as well nowadays and I've heard reports of one having been seen as far west as Newbury - so keep a watch out Andrew !
Best regards
