Handstand and dog

Hehe, I'm first out.
First off congrats for the 3'd place and the publishiing and all of that everyone in here wants and maby dream about.

Here's my thoughts of the image.
It's a fantastic shot, nice color and feel to it.
What I would like to see tho is the whole reflection of your son in the foreground.
I don't know if you have croped it like this on purpose pr if this was teh outcome but if you have croped it I would like to getthe whole reflection and some more space to the right.

Another note is the "movement unsharpness" (don't know what you call it in english accually)your son has.
I can't decide if I like it, to make the pic more alive and moving, of if I would want him more fixed.

Anyhow, GREAT pic and gratz to geting it published

Congratulations, an evocative scene well shot.

This is such an amazing, feel good, shot. I think that whenever photography creates emotion in us, that a peice of real art is born. This picture had that high calling element to it.

This photo belongs in a gallery....it just feels that good!

I totally disagree with Draken

I'm looking at this image as an ordinary photograph and am ignoring the fact that it had been published for the moment.

To me, the image shows a guy out with his dog and having fun on a beach in the evening. The contents of the picture are strong enough, what I mean is, there's a magnificent sunset, a gentle sea, reflective sand and a boy and his dog.
If you cram anymore onto it then you risk overdoing it. There is enough reflection from both the boy and the dog. The boy is nicely silohetted.

This is a fantastic shot and no wonder you are proud of it.
Well done for the publication, I only hope the other entries were worth the 1st and 2nd prizes.

I have had alot of my work published and therefore know how pleased you must be.
