Do you know besides the colours how I know its a baby goldfinch? because they are so tame they allow me to get really close. But as they start becoming more and more matured they get more aware of people and are quicker to react.
This one was already mid way to maturity, because I remember one I took was on the feeder with other matured goldfinches, when I approached all of the other ones flew off and this baby remained there and literally allowed me to get within meters. It had no yellow colours nor the black ones, but now this one has started having some, and it didnt actually allow me to get much closer, after this shot I attempted to get closer to the same disgtance I had done before and off it flew
