Thanks Maria. The pose reminded me of an old set of plates my grandma had with birds on all looking back over their shoulders for some reason. They were oval framed as well.

I love the image, but I don't think it needs this frame. I would prefer it with a simpler square frame or none at all, but this isn't a negative comment as it's down to personal preference.

No problem David. I was drawn to the framing from a memory. You put the images out there for feedback, and any feedback is good feedback. I love the image, but I don't think it needs this frame.
