Gold Hill, Shaftesbury
by Stridey
My first proper shot with my newly-acquired K3, using Pentax 17-70mm.
Taken as the sun was lowering towards the end of a beautiful and warm Spring day.
Gold Hill is perhaps best known for its association with the famous Hovis bread advert that was filmed here in 1973.
Some may also remember the spoof that The Two Ronnies also filmed here in 1978.

A classic location and cleverly angled to minimise the shadows.

You have a fine eye to compliment the new pentax tool. Beautifully lit and captured, t

Great picture, that hill is a lot steeper that it looks here, your website is looking very good as well.

Haven't been there for years. This super shot brings back lots of memories of happy times.
