Friendly Robin

by bigtench

While walking round Blacktoft Sands this little fella pitched up in the hedge right beside me to say hello. Fantastic opportunity to get some super tight close ups. Thanks Friendly Robin!

Are you sure that's not just a scanned Christmas card?

Seriously though that is a excellent shot, well done

Thank you for the comments. Perhaps I should have named him Zoolander as he was such a poser and up for the photo session like a pro model - hopping around me and striking a pose on every branch never much further than an arms length away!

On a serious note, as a stock image I'm not sure it gets much better than this.

Inspiring shot. Possibly saleable. Did you shoot in Raw+Jpeg?

I always shoot raw. I will develop in camera to jpeg if I have shot high ISO as usually the in camera noise reduction algorithms works better than Lightroom (not difficult as I find LR quite poor at this).
