Ferring Beach Sunset

by davesexton

I recently read, when starting to take landscape photographs, that one should never shoot directly into the sun. However, at sunrise and sunset, with care to avoid issues such as lens flare and veiling, the results can be very satisfactory.

This is a single shot of 1/320s at f/11 taken with a Pentax K-r and smc 18-55mm DAL lens at 18mm focal length.
