Don't do portraits often and couldn't do a clean open countenance on low asa film if I tried. A 50mm or a 120mm lens with a 400 asa (sometimes pushed upwards to higher brackets)and press the shutter button in panic mode just to get the whole portrait thing over and done with. Give me a nice tree or a spectacular dune anytime. Funny though because I am a massive David Bailey fan. Met him once at the local Art's Centre and a lovely bloke he is too. Makes you feel so relaxed. So I guess that's why he's got the portrait skill.

Like Maria said.

I think it's gallery-ready.

Yet again you have used softness to devastating effect

Thankyou all. Great positive feedback. Inspiring.
