Why?

This shot, taken with my ME Super / SMC F1.7 50mm, is just off the Roman Road on Houndkirk Moor, close to Sheffield, but I think in Derbyshire.
It is a favourite spot for walkers, mountain bikers and unfortunately 4x4s.
As if churning up the old road isn't enough, why do this?

What a shame to ruin a lovely landscape, i wish we were all like minded.
