Dovercourt lighthouse
Not a very original composition or location but I wanted an excuse to try out my new Uni-loc tripod. I love it, but I've already almost smashed the camera!

Original or not, its a lovely image. In respect of the tripod, it does take some getting used to - balancing on one leg trying to push one of the others out whilst the centre column suddenly swings away...

I'm not a fan of the long-exposure-water-effect but this is a nicely composed sea-scape with plenty of interest.
