Cyclo Cross

The Notts. and Derbyshire Cyclo-Cross League began last Saturday at Hardwick Hall, near Bolsover.
To me it seems a good way to ruin a fine bike - a small twig can get caught in the rear Derailleur mechanism and break it.
But the protagonists seem to enjoy it - if you can enjoy lung busting agony.
Anyway, here is a shot of a Nottingham Clarion rider being pursued by a Long Eaton compatriot.
Taken with my K5 & 50-200 (as my 55-300 is a bit slow for the sport).
