What a magnificent shot. This has to be one of the best bird images I've ever seen on the Gallery; it is just perfect. Could I ask Nuri, where was it taken? I know these birds are quite rare and only seen in the Scottish Highlands within the British Isles.

thanks for this flattering comment David, .. It's taken in my backyard; .. that's one of several "advantages" of living in country side .. .. by the way, .. nonetheless you're giving me another NEW pretext to get back to Scottish Highlands What a magnificent shot. I don't know enough English superlatives to describe what I feel. I can only replicate David's words: "This has to be one of the best bird images I've ever seen on the Gallery".
