Cracken Edge

by sandinista

Cracken Edge sits above the tiny village of Chinley in Derbyshire. This north easterly view takes in Mount famine, partially obscured by the tree, South Head, owned by the NT, and the Kinder Ridge plateau. I only noticed the nascent rainbow when I came to process the image

a strong image - tending to pull against the view expressed on a thread today that an uwa lens is not the ideal for a landscape

Isn't the light just great at this time of year, if a little harsh!

Such a fine, dramatic landscape, Jim. How well you exploit this lens/camera combination.
Best wishes,

Andrew
