Corkscrew
by davidstorm
A different perspective on a Stainless Steel corkscrew used to open a very nice bottle of 2002 vintage Yarra Valley Red tonight.
Taken with a bog standard Chinon f1.9 50mm, with 68mm Extension Tubes, 4 second exposure at f11. Very little post processing, just adjusted the contrast and dodged a little, no cropping.

Thank you Graham. This was really my first experiment with tubes, just got them today. I always suspected the Chinon 50mm F1.9 that is about 30 years old and off my original 'Petri' SLR was a sharp lens and I wanted to test the theory. When viewed in full size (uncompressed) on my monitor at home it is very sharp in the focus area and also at the left edge. Not bad for a cheap old lens!
