Not a technique I have tried intentionally, had a few unintentional one thing this is the best so far

I spent ages trying to get a composition I liked with this one... There was a patch of forest floor literally spotlit by the late afternoon sun... Eventually settled on this... Reminded me of a conference of elders gathered round a light source of some kind...

Great work on the recents. I have an extremely big soft spot for this ICM of yours. This one? The blue and the central have a fine story to seek imaginings to. It speaks that either the decision has materialised from elder considerations or here is the decision to consider. Catastrophic thinking indeed.
