Great compo of square and rectangular shapes and a round dark hole. Lovely tonal range. I like this a lot, Andrew!

A disturbing, powerful image, Andrew.
Where is this courtyard?
What has happened here?
Where do the steps lead?
What awaits those about to climb them?
Reminiscent of Don McCullin's work.
Thanks for letting us see.
Roger.

Stark, graphic and urban, could be the entrance to a concentration camp, powerful image.

These were my thoughts too, very powerful shot.

Yes a good spot, perfect for B&W. Needs some bullet holes

Simple but effective shot. I like the great tones and lights.

Thanks everyone.
Roger, I'm flattered: Don McCullin is one of my favourite photographers.

That has a sombre gravity to it and I admire your ability to get the symmetry right, Andrew.
That Don McCullin reference makes the 'Hue' graffiti even more succinct!
(for those of us old enough to remember the Vietnam War.)
Best wishes,
David W
