Solitude

I think this works well. It is a nice calming image. It has three nicely spaced elements in the vertical plane. The horse and rider provide a good point of interest which is carried across the frame by the marks in the sand. The receding waves draw the eyes to the hazy horizon and accentuate the calmness of the image. It is just a little bit on the light side for my taste.

There is plenty of soft space for some icons but some care will be needed to make sure they do not mask the horse and rider.

The colour changes of the three elements and certainly the waves provide some detail at the edge of the picture for my hints/reminders to peek around the edge of open windows and panels.

The subject probably generates some happy memories for its creator and I certainly feel I have been in similar places. While I see from the exif data that this is spring image it will probably work all year round.
