Taken at Weald Park, Brentwood, Essex, in January 2003. One of the captive deer who are generally very friendly.

Fuji Provia 400, in a, ahem, Chinon CP-7m, with Tokina 80-200mm f/2.8.

One of the best photography days I've ever had.

A very nice image. Lots of space on the left hand side for my icon clutter. Definitely a seasonal backdrop which I think is a great idea as it implies that it will have to be changed for a different one in the spring and therefore injects variety and then this image possibly becomes something to look forward to for the next winter.

I think I would have to put my most used icons in a block on the line-of-site of the Buck.

I wonder if having a mainly white background might be a bit harsh but then again most of my document writing is done against a white background. One of the things I like to get from a backdrop is a hint of it peeking around the sides of your open windows or panels at the edges of the display and I don’t think this one will achieve this although it does work on the right hand side.
