CLOWNs
by GIULIO57
Camera PENTAX LX and PENTAX Zoom 40-80mm on 80mm. KODAK EKTA Slidechrome 100 ISO. F 4-1/100 sec. Portrait taken at Sirmione-Italy(Lake of Garda) during a show. Date: 19-10-2014.First of all apply a threshold adjustment layer to original portrait and move slider at your own liking. Take care image doesn’t turn too black(ot too white); special way in the area of face.Later open several new layers(place one then following under previous-and so on- in the layer’s stack) and add “solid block colours”at your liking on eyes, lips, cheeks….Important is to use a lazo tool (or other selection tools)to describe the area around lips, eyes and so on. Choose a colour using eyedropper of foreground colour chip. Then press Alt+backspace so those areas fill with colour you choosed. Delete selection(s) using CTRL+D. Last add a colour(s) as background. Done. To fill areas using colours you can choose another path: set colour and press Edit-Fill, then OK. To deselect areas you can go to Selection and press deselect. All different ways work fine.Sorry for this “super-brat”lesson. Bye the way:I have matched together two different versions of same pic.Important is to start from a “finished-final”work. Then flip-flop horizontal and save with a different name. Open a new “empty”file (same height but length must be the same of the two different original). Drag and place these two piccies in the new “space”. Take care that NO white spaces appear along borders. Use arrow keys to move and place piccies in a correct way. Done.
PS I want to thank Mrs Maria(Autumnlight), Mr. Jim(Sandinista), Mr.Nezih(Nonur) and last BUT not least Mr. Gabor(SZgabor) of PUG-PPG for help they gave me in ONE Gallery(NO NAMES). I’ll never waste my time in that Gallery in the future…and I suggest you to spend less time of your life in that place….but “place”is not right word. I should use a different one to better describe that WC(Wafer Closed….AhhhhAhhhh otherwise they could offend…Ahhh I’m glad to inform you that it is not an Italian Gallery otherwise it could be even easier to state that Italians are only Mess, Mafia, Pizza and Spaghetti). This photo is dedicated to CLOWNS of Canikon Mafia. Canikon Mafia? No THX! I’m PROUD to be here in PUG & PPG.

Completely original and a work of art. What do the young ladies in the image think of it?
Best wishes

Giulio - One of the finest Images produced on this gallery. Certainly a museum quality work of visual art. Dont know why so many other artist are limiting their art to Photography in the 21st century, when so many visual concepts can be expressed in seeing a image, executing it, reinventing it PP and disseminating it among potential viewers.
All the tech info provided was interesting. I cheer your technical accomplishment and was blown away by the final image. Thank you for your effort. Superlative. Tony
At a loss for the unknown gallery - did you enter a contest and were not chosen?

THX for your words...I showed it on a private held Gallery (weekly theme was and is Art Exchange-Andy Warhol)...Weekly theme ends this night.....In this contest everyone can upload his/her photo. Your score increases due to comments and votes by other challangers. It is a standard that every week same peoples are at the top....and they don't give their votes back!! Normal but dishonest...My pic is at 45 place...and you should look at "not matching with theme photos live before mine...and others"..I'll send you a private msg to inform about gallery.

Unsure of your recent problems (very, very sorry if you have felt bad...no-one deserves turmoil and negativity) but this is a very fine piece of art. I dwell on my own thoughts surrounding this imagery. It takes me back to the original LP cover of 'Hair' the musical. I played and played that album to the limits and can still hear those songs in my head. Now see what you have done.....Aquarius....Aquarius.......I'll be singing that all day now.
