Cloisters
by davidtrout
The cloisters at Gloucester Cathedral - an architectural treasure trove in stone masonry. Taken exactly a year ago and then lost somewhere in my laptop. Like my last posting this image has just been rediscovered and processed.

I wish I had access to some of Timbo's beautiful models but I don't think the cathedral authorities would approve. Superb location...Great sense of depth. Very nice - brings back lots of memories as I used to walk through that cloister practically everyday when I was little. You've captured the textures of the stones beautifully.

Love this one too, but I actually prefer the one with the red door. The floor almost looks like a river flowing.

Authorities will approve for sure...They're intelligent just because they're Authorities....and they have Good eyes to refresh with models! I'm sure they will approve you and they will help you in choosing right models! They(Authorities) have cunning eyes.....I'm joking but I'm sure that a beautiful model is always appreciated. "Beautiful" is a gift of The Lord, IMHO.
