I walked past this recently and thought how out of place (the memorial) (the new development) looked. You simply cannot have both, as you have clearly demonstrated.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

To a degree. Yet I prefer this backdrop to the brutalist library. I just wanted to compress the contradictions here. A 60 second walk and I could photograph the Memorial with the Museum and Art Gallery ot the Town Hall as a backdrop. The camera, of course, lies!
