I agree - A lovely flower & colours.
The edges of the petals are nicely defined too.
I also like this one!

Is it a 18-55mm lens you're using?
I'd be interested to see how the 55mm end of the lens compares at it's minimum appeture if you have one:

I prefer this version, it's much better than the previous one. Nice colours and composition, you have chosen a better point of view.

Certainly an improvement, Trixie, and not the easiest flower to get great depth of field. You are getting there.
As I have said to you before. You have that one skill that cannot be taught, that of seeing a good arrangement and picture.
I can only encourage you to keep working at it.
