Break up.

by graysummers

Took this with the 645. Couldn't produce a print in it's full form due to lack of neg holder housings in the old Wetzler. Cut up a piece of lino flooring into a squarish format and moved it about for the best of hoped fors. Also used a cheap 120 Lucky film that broke up in ID11. I love the falling apart nature. I've seen a different dimension in it's result. Charcoal-y and fading into obscurity.

The mood in this has a visceral depth. There is intrigue to know more about this landscape, always a good thing

It's a pleasure seeing and enjoying your art. This is my favorite piece of yours (until the next one) The dark shadows on the foreground poles and the tree at the middle right anchors the image perfectly. Love being in this dimension. Thank you, tg

I do like it, it's quite unusual; the sky has a strange 'Other worldy /metallic' look, sort of ghostly.

Very impressionistic, Gray. Lovely tones.

"Ambassador, you are spoiling us" (Ferrero Rocher advert, circa mid 80s)There's so many good things in this... Personally, i keep going back to the tree and the poles... But it could be any number of things... Full of good stuff...

To get to such an image in such a way is more than creative, it is just brilliant but to see it in your mind is something even more special, it is a gift, what a piece of art.

Definitley one of your best, if not "the" best"!. It seems such a simple composition, yet theres so much more to it -the hint of the fence posts in the foreground, the tantilizing hint of the hills in the background, and that gorgeous sky with its textured quality. Love it. - mary.
