Blur Tongue Lizard
by Horst
This morning I was told by the big boss at home, to do something for my figure and go for a walk.
Obediently , I took my camera and drove off to Churchill Park , near Melbourne.
After a long walk with lots of panting, I spotted this Blue Tongue Lizard beside the narrow track. This one was a about 12" ( 30cm) long.
They are very timid and non dangerous creatures. they are quite rare now and are a protected specie.
I took this one picture with my Pentax-A 50mm macro lens.
When I tried to get closer, it decided to walk off showing his tongue , which was really very blue.
Regards, Horst
