black n white

heres one changed to black and white and would like some feedback.not sure if ive made it a bit under exposed.what do you think?

Colour one was better Dave, this one needs a bit more ZING - maybe try adjusting the RGB/Luminance curves?

i agree.i tried to get the mid sectoin to glow and fade into darkness around the outer.....but failed misserably.

i'll take a look for the rgb/luminance curves in cs5.

I prefer this version. My attention was drawn by the red flames from his face in the colour version. Now it is more balanced IMHO.

thanks Gabor,i find black and white quite difficult to do.This version is kind of greyish blue.
