Thanks, Donna. I love this shot for all sorts of reasons but few other do. Odd. I posted it on another site and it did not find favour at all.
Best wishes,

Andrew

I'm first drawn in by the couple who seem unbeknownst that you are there, like they are actors in front of a camera doing their thing. He looks like Teli Savalas,, and those heels the girl has on are quite wild for a BIKER! I like the pair of motorcycles with the helmets placed on the handlebars and the gravely ground in the foreground and the ocean on the horizon in the background. Looks like a movie still to me...like you said, lots of reasons to like this pic.

P.S. You're just getting up and I'm up way late but headed to bed now! 😴
Cheers...Donna 😊

Another great image Andrew. Why do I never "see the shot" like this. Could I ask if you have tried this as a square crop?
Regards
Stan

I was so lucky, Stan. Just in the right place although the light was against me, rather, so to speak. The performance of the camera was remarkable under the circumstances. Lots of recoverable detail from the shadow and highlights in RAW... as long as you don't look too closely.

The couple posed for a shot after I'd taken this (well, I really wanted the girl on her own, of course, but the lad wouldn't leave he side! The posed shot was nowhere near as good.

I've not tried a square shot but I could see how it would work.

Thanks both.
Best wishes,

Andrew

Well it's a super B/W story, i don't understand why you haven't had the feedback the photo deserves, to each their own i suppose

I like this in black and white, I just can't imagine it being so good in colour.
