Attimo Fuggente(Flying Instant)

Date May 3rd, 1996 h 18,00. Camera PENTAX LX. SIGMA LENS 400mm APO.Tripod and shutter release cable to avoid vibrations. Manual Exposure. F8-11. Shutter Speed: 1/15sec. Film is Kodak Elite 100 ISO(slide chrome) scanned on EPSON Perfection 3200. I was looking for how to “fill this compo” with an action…i.e. a moving car…using a few colours only. Green, red & yellow go together well I thought. So I waited for (a long time)a red car. When it was there I was ready to shoot. Place: country-road from Pienza to Monticchiello, Val d’Orcia, Tuscany-Italy.

That's superb Giulio. I really like the composition and the speeding car is the icicng on the cake.

The compo is wonderful, it was worth the wait for the car which adds so much and of course the colours speak for themselves.
