An orange Welsh poppy

The usual yellow one got crossed with a red one maybe? I just had to photograph those wonderful crinkly petals.The dreamy background is a rather muddy, farmyard puddle !

There is dignity in its simplicity, which the muddled puddle underlines with its smoothness and near-complementary blueness. Just lovely David.

I have the Welsh Poppies and yes they do throw out orange ones sometimes, lovely shot David.

Thank you. The reason for the longer format is so that it fills my monitor side to side!
