Almost Still Life

Draft image for wedding invite card (18th century theme). My daughter is cat potty! Invite message may be added in darker areas later. Two assistants were needed for this- one in charge of the kitten, the other in charge of bubbles and feathers. 35mm Macro Ltd.

It's so good to see you back again Gary! We missed your photos. This is wonderful, we should learn more about symbols to find all the implications. However, several of them can be understood depending on your former explanations, but I think they must be interpreted in a different way according to the context. Wonderful and lovely on all accounts.

Many thanks- This is basically an action shot- one assistant putting the kitten through the frame- (from then on anything can happen!), and another to blow bubbles and drop feathers. I used an off camera flash set at 1/32 power, this was attached to a long cardboard tube to create a spotlight on the frame area. The K5 was in 7 fps mode - the Metz flash generally kept up with the rate of shooting. The result was lots of shots with the kitten in various poses, some sharper than others depending on speed of movement and ambient light as the whole thing was taken during bright daylight in our conservatory. Three kittens were used in rotation until they showed no further interest.
