After-nap Portrait

by sugatabanerji

I woke up my napping wife and asked her to pose for this portrait. I was testing a red filter that I had just bought. This was shot with the red filter and converted to BW in post processing.

I hate to think what would have happened to me if I had done the same to my wife!! Nicely done!

Now that is a very sweet portrait.

The shadow stripes really help show the facial contours, was that planned or a happy accident? Either way it works brilliantly.

I wanted to include the stripes. In fact, the sunlight coming through the blinds was what prompted me to take the photo.
