The toy does not really have the feeling of being abandoned to me...infact I feel like it is a prized toy, being that it is within reach of the child....now it might be waiting its turn...but that is not abandoned. Now if it were in the trash, or muddy ground or under the bed...you get my feel???

Paul, I really can't decide between this one and another almost identical shot, where the focus is purely on Buzz, and the background is out of focus. I thought with this one, the viewers attention was drawn past the toy, indicating the viewer was abandoning the toy??
Judith, I was trying to show that the boy, (Luke), has abandoned the traditional toy for an electronic game and TV.
I'll post the other one and let you decide.

My work competition theme this year is 'three' but I'm beginning to wonder if people can be bothered to put any thought and effort into it. I'll find out in October.
