Thanks again for your interest. I have to confess that I
feel pity for those spruce trees under the burden of snow.
But the art of nature sometimes seems to demand some humbling from living organisms. In that district one can
hardly find any healthy tree top, and still the trees survive. They are tough creatures that grow extremely slowly and produce the best possible wood full of resin.
Resin is their drugstore against rottening.
