At last... a good photograph for the day... almost like a Keith Alexander painting! WELL DONE!
2x K10D bodies, 2x FA 28-200 3.8-5.6, DA 18-55, A 50 F2, 50mm Macro, 360 FGZ. Still saving for the 60-250 DA* Also have a Z10 35mm and a K1000 just for fun. IF PENTAX IS THE ANSWER, WHO CARES WHAT THE QUESTION IS...!

By the thumbnail I thought it was an Andrew shot, which I think you can take as a compliment!

Gary,

Do I detect the influence, perhaps subliminal, of Renee Magritte here? I'm sure he would have approved of your treatment of the sky. Can't decide whether there were some very careful exposure calculations made at the time of capture, the final image is an HDR 'sandwich' or you have done some advanced editing in PS to retain such exquisite detail on both sides of the dividing wall. Whatever, it hit my photoGraphic-spot

Jon- Magritte? Yes, I see what you mean. The ruins of Tupholme Abbey are a great spot for taking these through a window shots -no roof with the sun in the right position gives fairly even lighting on the 'interior' wall and the exterior view, although I still managed to burn out some detail in the main cloud. Cheers, Gary
