Thanks to all who commented on my last photos of Autumn Woodland. I finally got round to trying out Silkypix with a couple of pics from the Welsh Mountain Zoo.

The chimp was shot on K10D with an 85/1.8 SMC Takumar through a dirty plastic/glass screen but still seemed to come out ok (though I did boost the contrast a bit to help).

This one was with a Sigma 70-300 APO

And another one with the 85 (which is fast becoming my favourite), not at the zoo b.t.w , trying to get that flowing water effect:

Welsh Mountain Zoo!! Haven't been there since I was a kid!

Love number 2 and that water fall!!, I think you have it just right. Not a strip of "cotton wool", but still gives the feeling of fast flowing water.
Getting there! Thanks to you guys

I'm amazed by the clarity in the crops. Seems like a stunning lens! Well done.

Lovely shots and just goes to show what quality one can get from a 30+ year old lens.

Best wishes, Kris.

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.
