Best wishes to 'Kay' Ricoh and 'Dee' Pentax on the safe arrival of their new offspring, which they have called 'Zed'. Clearly it is a product of the best K-3 and 645D genes.

I'm saving up to adopt this child. What a beautiful beast!

Sadly, I feel you're overlooking the older sibling

He may be a bit slower, perhaps not as beautiful, but he stll counts - Maybe he's not good enough for Brad and Angelina or You, but I'd like to adopt him link

Good point Lenny, although I think of the 645D more as parent than sibling.

For me, theoretically the cost is effectively £1000 lower because an upgrade to the K-3 would be unnecessary - almost everything in the K-3 is in the 645Z.

For ease of portability, I would of course keep my K-5 and Limiteds.

All this is just the stuff of dreams though, but having a few 645 FAs makes it soooooooooooooo tempting.

I'm quite confident that the 645N and 645Nii are the parents, the 645 was the Grandfather and the 67 the Great Grandfather

Tell me about it ! I was so close to buying a 645D body last week, but common sense prevailed and I now understand you have to sell things before you can buy things
