Who's put their towel on the deck chairs?
Also they seem to be implementing the same AF system as on a K3, which reminds me of Nikon D7100 and D600(?) issue where AF covered sufficient amount of frame in D7100 but was only centre in D600. With K3 to 645DZ(?) the issue will be even more pronounced if the spacing is the same, but never know. Will see when comes out

So basically it is a K3 insides with much bigger sensor. Who was asking for full frame, deal got even better?

Hopefully a good camera coming up for a reasonable price for medium format

Cheers,
Pentax K-5 and co.

Not those who don't like large heavy kit.
Ricoh may do us a favour and make an adapter to allow use of Q lenses on the 645 so that should help lighten the load.
Best regards

Operationally, as always, there is certainly a uniformity across the whole Pentax DSLR range. This even extends to lots of operational similarity with even the older film SLRs.
But inside it's a very different beast in terms of construction. A Pentax 67D would be more like what you describe, if such a beast existed!

CHEERS Vic.
Born again biker with lots of Pentax bits. Every day I wake up is a good day. I'm so old I don't even buy green bananas.
While we were sleeping, it seems the German website has put the 645Z spec on their website for all to see.

but not the price

Massive improvement on the 645D with so much K-3 technology built into it, plus tilting screen and of course fifty million pixies! Almost worth mortgaging the house
