Message from my wife "its made me hungry", but on a sensible note #2 is my favorite. Being picky perhaps clone out the corners of the plate, or show the complete plate.

I thought about the cloning of the plate but to be fair I'm only showing them for a bit of fun .. I'm not intending to print (or even keep) them really Message from my wife "its made me hungry", but on a sensible note #2 is my favorite. I had to get a few photos pretty quickly as my sons eyes popped out when I took it out of the microwave and alas the pudding is no more.

I'm not keen on partial OOF in food photography so I'd go for the second one - my preference, not a criticism.
The thing that makes Yorkshire pudding hard to make is that no two people agree on how they should be.

Your avatar seems somewhat hungry
I have never tasted or even seen the Yorkshire pudding, so I cant comment your achievement
I like the colors and texture on the photos. The second shows both of them better. The corners behind the plate are bit disturbing.

I hesitate to be serious, but I have had two moderate fires with combi microwaves. Keep an eye on them.

Regarding the pictures number 2 does it for me and I agree with David, if it had been swimming with gravy I would have been making some at 8:00 this morning!!!!!

As soon as the wife had gone out I was on to it like a shot .. heres the outcome.
Well that's me never using the conventional oven again.
(Not that I actually use it much anyway tbh)
