Yorkshire Dales Autograss

Not my usual sort of thing but as it is only a 20 minute drive - decided to visit the Yorkshire Dales Grass Track on bank holiday Monday.

Great day for it - 22 degrees not a cloud in the sky - got parked - started getting the gear out of the boot .....and discovered that my 120-400 - the lens I was going to use had vanished!

So my only option was to use the Sigma 50-150, not really long enough and pushed this lens to it's limits.

Some images were not as sharp as I hoped but had a fun day and will definitely go again. See what you think all c+c welcome as usual.

PS - when I got home I discovered that my wife had kindly removed my lens from the boot earlier in the morning and forgot to tell me!!

Great set of photos.

The first photo in the set is my favourite.

Thanks Guys

Great fun Alan - have found another round of the championship tomorrow near York so may well go again - £6 for 6 hours of motor sport to photograph has to be a cheap day out!
