Beautiful looking dog
I lost my dog when I was 21 - at 40 I still have not had another pet
Weird thinking going on - but I just can't bring myself to replace her
And we work too much to be able to properley look after another mutt

You can never replace a pet. They are all unique We lost our last two doggies a few years ago [sniff], and now have two more lovely doggies who are now 8 years old. We never look upon them as replacements.Beautiful looking dog

When you have more time to look after another doggie please get one ( or two so it has a companion). There's so many doggies out there who need some love

Bess is so slow these days, her legs aren't what they used to be.
Last April my mother-in-law passed away and a few days later Bess had a terrible stroke. Coming after the loss of Eiddwen it was an emotional time. I thought the dog was a goner - three days of visits to the vets for treatment and she was fine. Incredible. I dread the day that I have to let her go.

Gorgeous image of a beautiful animal - love her expression - it could melt icebergs.
Given my forum name and avatar - it would be pretty difficult to not guess I have a soft spot for dogs
Fritz is a German short haired Pointer around 9 years old now and has been with us since he was around 18 months old when my wife 'imported' him from Ireland. He is believed to have been a 'failed' gun dog abandoned and run over by a van resulting in a broken pelvis among other injuries that took several months for the fantastic team at (Cork) CSPCA to sort out.
He is a wonderful dog - his one main failing being he rarely stays still long enough to be photographed!!
He is the 3rd 'rescue' dog I have had and will not be the last - there are just way too many Fritz's out there - all unique - all deserving a second chance!

Beautifully captured Phil.
They say never work with animals, why I don't know, most of them have more facial expressions that some of the models I've worked with
