And if you'd put it central, someone would have said "Nice, but if you'd put it to one side it would look better..."nice could of been abit more central but thats nothing a crop wont solve

Not sure if the red breast is a little too bright compared to the rest, almost looks fluorescent to me.

I dont like it
The selective colour effect that is
As for the pic itself, I'd have been happy enough with it myself but..... that branch at the top left needs cropping out, I personally would also crop out the one in the bottom right corner, alternatively if you want to cheat you could clone it out finally that bright branch behind the bird needs darkening.
Is this tree stump in your garden or somewhere you visit frequently? if so try again but shift you position to the left to avoid distractions in the back ground, if its in you garden you could prune them away you could also drill a hole in the top of the stump and bait it with mealworms (you can get them dried if your squeemish)

The image was taken in a woods and it was pure chance the little fella sat and posed for me. The red is bright on here for some reason, but on psp it seems a lot less saturated.
I like the idea of a stump with bait, will give that a try. Thanks for the idea Spider.
As for being off centre I think it works best, cropped the image about four times before deciding, the subject being centre just didn't work I thought.
Thanks to all for taking the time to reply and all comments very much appreciated .
