Apparently sticking the *ist focusing screen into the K10D fixes the problem. I assume it actually transfers the problem to the *ist if you put the K10D focusing screen in there...

You might get lucky as I did with the FA28 mm, found it in Cambrian in the spring for 65 pounds

Thankfully - their new stock was limited to K10D with 18-55 and K100D with 20-35...otherwise if they'd had a limited then....ooooohhhhhhhh dear!
Thought Kamera-Express has a better equipped shop actually... nice ride out in the countryside, de Roode Hert on the Zwolle - Ommen road is quite a nice place to stop for a meal

K-E is usually a bit cheaper too. Thanks for the lunch tip, I'll remember it next time I head for Den Ham.

Also, I hesitate to recommend any K or M lens nowadays unless it is to be used wide-open.
