Yellow Rose

Had another play with the new to me 35mm f2.8 macro limited lens; a climbing rose after a rain shower. Really impressed with the sharpness and colour rendition I'm getting, quickly becoming my favourite lens.

It doesn't get much better than that Paul - beautiful warm lighting and the glistening highlight of the raindrops standout from the dark surround. Super lens and a great eye to pick out that composition

I agree with LennyB above, nicely done Paul. The 35 ltd is a lens I have been eying lately, this kind of image is pushing it in the right (?) direction.

Hi Sry, My 35mm lens was secondhand from SRS and I can definitely recommend both the lens and SRS. The lens is unmarked and quite frankly like new. SRS had both the later HD version and the earlier non HD. I went with the HD but both get excellent reviews.

Thanks Paul, I've read good things about the lens and SRS both . I do live in France however and will be sourcing (if I end up going for the 35) as locally as possible for practical (and financial) purposes.
