Went to the Staffordshire Wildlife Trust yesterday. Plenty of ducks and geese, sheep and cows. But I took this photo of the River Trent.

Certainly chuck a line in at those overhangs and tempt any trout that fancied a nibble.

The river and overhanging trees make a pleasant tranquil scene, John. Perhaps consider cropping away the top 10-15% to remove some of the featureless sky, to leave only its central V-shape?

Yes, I tend to agree with that. The more elongated shape will also emphasise the river receding into the distance.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass
