All oiled of course.

Lovely work, feather detail in the first 3 makes them better, last one may be suffering from to much flash.

Well captured, the only time I've seen this bird it is engraved on the obverse of a farthing

You're getting some marvellous shots with that 500 Sigma. Lovely soft bokeh, with sharp-as-a-needle subjects. Were these also at 9 pm?

Thanks for your comments everyone.
Don,I think the last image has too much flash this is because of the sky in the background/too close for a beamer [that's part of the fun] and not having time to change the flash settings after taking the shots of the Juveniles under the cover of the canopy of the wood.

Martin,About 11am, these are Juveniles/parents from a nest that I have been watching for a while.The Juveniles were perching in Cow parsley/Nettles and then on a branch of a small bush.
At some point I will be trying to get some better Wood mouse shots so I will be out when the light is starting to fade.
