I was looking at one of these for my daughter. General view is that it is more or less on a par with the Pentax 18-55mm kit lens, though obviously copies will vary and it might be a bit soft as you approach 200mm. They tend to go for around £75/80 in excellent used condition on Ebay so £75 would be a decent, if not outstanding, price for a new one, depending on who it was from.
The price in your link is very high so don't buy it on that basis thinking you have a massive bargain. There is a newer optically stabilised version (says OS in the name) which is a lot more expensive and not needed for a Pentax body. At £75 the one you are looking at will be the earlier version I guess.
I'd be interested in a new one at £75 if there is more than one.....

I can't comment on the value/quality of this lens, but it does appear to be a good price.
If you're concerned about the shop, it does exist and is on the corner of Wesley Rd/Station Rd about a mile from the M1, but to get to it you'd need to leave at J31 then find your way through A/B roads.
regards
Bernard
edit,
Took a while to type, so the above is obsolete-b

This is the last new one sold on Ebay. I bid on it, but it went for more than the last couple had done so thought it a bit high at £84 plus postage. You can pick up a new one on Ebay for £75 from time to time if you are prepared to wait. buy it at £75 if you want one, but don't do it thinking you will make a profit on Ebay, because that isn't likely, after fees etc.

I live about a mile away from this shop. It is a reputable retailer that mainly sells astronomical telescopes, binoculars etc. but also has a decent stock of camera gear too. I would be happy to check this out 'in the flesh' so to speak, but it would be Saturday before I could visit the shop in person.
Hope this helps.

Well after all that it didn't fit . She assumed it was Pentax fit as it was stamped SA/PKR on the rear lens cap . Shame it was split new and unused

SA/PKR is the correct cap for a Pentax. Sigma's own bayonet Well after all that it didn't fit . She assumed it was Pentax fit as it was stamped SA/PKR on the rear lens cap . Shame it was split new and unused
must be very similar because the same cap fits and is used
on both.
Excellent caps they are as well.... much better than the old
thing that Pentax still use. Time they (Pentax) got
more up to date
