Congratulations again!
Very strange shot but well executed to so the least.
Could you tell us a bit more about, did you set it up for example or was it part of a play?

I was shooting a play in a London theater.

I was invited by the theater manager not to stay under the stage, but instead up above the audience, so quite far from the stage.

Shot the whole play (3 hours) with 50-135 and 16-50. The 50-135 was absolutely perfect, and I would get a half body shot at 135mm.

THe photo represents the scene of the prison, where (a bit like in Chicago) the girl is incarcerated, and she's desperately singing behind bars. THe whole theater was completely pitch black, but for the spotlight on the actress. I have quite a few shots from the series, but this one I composed thinking of the thirds, including the amazing shadow of the scenic prison bars.

well, I was hired to shoot the play, it wasn't random...
I really hope to do more, it was an amazing evening, although I didn't really follow the play very much...

Very, and very appropriately, dramatic. Definitely worthy of a place. Hope the theatre liked it.
