Hi Stub,
Thanks so much that's that sorted. Before my mate turned up with his gear I'd been shooting in full manual at 1/200. And didn't change settings other than drop ISO and aperture.
As you know, K-7 flash sink is 1/180.
Just tried kit again and everything is hunky dorey at 180th or longer.
Thanks again, now a fan of big lights. I want one (or two).
Cheers,
Gene Stevo.

My friend brought his Neeweer 250Di for me to play with. Trouble is the hot shoe mounted trigger wont fire the flash unit (camera is K-7).
The unit will fire via my pop up flash no problem but the supplied trigger won't do anything. Trigger and receiver are in sync as they work fine on my friends Canon (forgive language)and the test button on the trigger works fine.
I've even tried linkig trigger to camera via a supplied cord into my x-sync port with trigger in hot shoe.
I've fiddled with every flash option menu I can find but the bloomin thing wont fire from my K-7.
What's the trick to this, I'm sure it's me and not the kit?
Cheers,
Gene Stevo.
